“Don’t confuse having a career with having a life.” – Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Human is the only creature who works to survive. Work makes him famous, wealthy, respected. Without work let alone fame, he cannot survive. Work is mandatory. But every human has his own personal space. He has to do work but also has to concentrate in his personal life. He has to maintain the balance between work and personal life. Otherwise life will be unbearably boring.
A term which is used for the idea that one needs time for both work and other prospects of life is called balancing work-life. Here other prospects mean family related or personal interests. There is saying goes that, ‘All work and no play make Jack a dull boy.’
But whether the work is paid or voluntary or at least some contributory effort is often being the personal satisfaction and recognised as important aspect. In today’s unsure and fast-moving business world, its hard task to gain balance with work-life. As everybody is increasingly interconnected through technology and social media, it is becoming quite hard to separate work from our personal lives. It’s a kind of commonplace to check emails at every hour, taking calls of business while taking dinner and working on weekends.
A healthy and standard work-life balance maintaining is not only mandatory but it also can help the people’s productivity and ultimately performance who work under you. It’s simple when people don’t take works as chores, they will work harder, make less mistakes and it will help to increase your product quality and promote in market.
