Depression meets us when terrible things start happening to us.
Maybe you’re thinking about your job might get lost or having financial trouble can also make your life unhappier. It rigidly pushes shock on mind. That’s why you fall into sadness, unhappiness and having toxic moments in your life. But depression, a depressed mind doesn’t grow on that way. Basically it’s not just a sadism but more than that which triggers your thoughts, blows up your mind with every single second.
Sad or unhappiness can be brought to your life any moment, any day in numerous ways. It’s a normal human expression that every single human does relate to or happens in their lives several times.

Having relationship troubles?
Got failed an exam?
These including a huge path of events can also trigger sadness. Primarily the cure is, pass the time with an act of pro-activity, listening to good music or however talking with your closest one, your parents anyway. Active reactions of sadness introduce venting, crying, however talking out frustrations which actually activate your healing process I guess.
Oh! I just remember a relevant line, “time heals everything”, and it’s proven correctly from many aspects. But think about what if it’s not healed or doesn’t feel safe enough, safer, independent or even stable?
That’s where depression comes & it’s discussion meanwhile pausing the sadistic stuff. Also be noted sadness is just a slight part of depression.
Okay, so what is depression? Does it sound like a rich people’s problem, cool stuff for young minds or is it okay to pretend not to worry much about it?
None of you are gonna say It’s okay. But why?
Because we are talking more of it nowadays? Or just because worse things and examples through depression have been found?
People have got much concern regard this while everyone can relate that unlike sadness, it’s inevitably a bigger trouble and mental trauma for anyone can any moment be occurred off.
Globally, more than 264 million people of all ages suffer from depression, as WHO claims.
This is just another mental disorder which shows vital effects on a person’s life. It can occur in any gender or age and alters behaviors and attitudes. Affected person might be thinking of attempts suicide. One feels no real passion for work, less connection with family and friends which throws the person in a traumatic stage where insomniac, inferior complexity gets triggered on head.
Moreover, untreated depression is severely dangerous for the patient, it basically changes everything, may result including change in sleeping schedule, drug addiction.
Does depression get a lot of faces?
Simply yes. The reasons behind the depression that we predict on a depressed person is not necessarily the exact. Somehow we misjudge or pretend the slightly wrong observation on that person, for what counselling services or professional help are an immediate call.
What are the different types of depression?
Two of the most common forms of depression are:
Major depression-
This can be came out on a daily basis, nearly everyday or perhaps in every week once for sure. This depression behaves like periodic appearances. Two or more than that can happen in your life or just once if you’re lucky. The period contains severe or light psychological effects on humans in month(s) cycles.
Persistent depressive disorder –
It can last for 2 years or even more than that. This whole terrible period is either consecutive which leads humans to unbearable depths of frustrations, calls for hospitalization or could be uncertain in action.
Some forms of depression are different and you may get confused by comparison to general depression. These may develop under unique circumstances such like:
Seasonal Affective Disorder(SAD) is very relatable with its naming that hits with the seasons.
Perinatal Depression, majorly occurs with pregnant women during or after pregnancy. This is also known as premenstrual dysphoric disorder.
Psychotic Depression occurs when one has severe depression and some form of psychosis. Having delusions or hallucinations are major symptoms of this.
Atypical Depression that comes very random or acts incidental passes away through positive events right there if any.
Alongside these, a lot can be found which behaves simply differently than others.
Treatment for depression-
If anyone struggling with mental instability, or showing symptoms of depression for such a long time, generally more than 2-3 weeks is assumable to mark as a major depressive disorder (MDD) issue, assuring that he/she should definitely be taken care of, seeking professional help is not just only be appreciated but also making sure the continuations of diagnosis, following up counselling and possible treatments include antidepressants, medication and psychotherapy.
Depression persists our lives substantially. The reasons behind of it exact cause couldn’t be identified but has many influential genesis like, biological difference,hormones,brain chemistry ,inherited traits and so on.
There’s always been a number of risk or pushing factors that seem to increase the risk of developing or triggering any issue, likely at the case of depression too. Risk factors vastly are contained on social, medical and other substances.
I was thinking to share my personal experiences being depressed and recently got a panic attack due to hypertension during this pandemic.
