How are the days going? You look outside sadly? You find any green there? If you are in Dhaka, it’s quite hard to find so. Other areas than Dhaka are much green though, it is declining year by year, maybe day by day?
Do you not feel like give some rest to your eyes with some trees and plants? If you feel it, but cannot really go outside (as we all are locked in home), how about going green?
Yeah, going green. It can be started with very cheap equipment. You can use used plastic bottles. Take some soil and plant seeds. You can collect the seed from the fruit you eat. Thinking about fertiliser? It’s very easy. You can use tea liquor and egg as fertilisers. They help tree grow. Now put the bottle in some corner of home where sunlight can come through. Not every plant necessarily need sunlight. But for first few days it they may need it.
You can use plants to decorate your home. It serves purposes two ways, you home looks beautiful and it soothes your eyes. You will feel a freshness generated in your own home!
Going green includes everything that is nature friendly. For instance, you are using plastic bins now. What if you start using a paper-made bin? You can make it of your own. There are so many tutorials on youtube. Plus point is you can draw a cartoon on it or make your own design. (I’m not kidding.)
If you have much place around your house I would suggest to make a garden. At least grow some grass. You know how it feels to walk grass? You do not have it? You can take a tray and some soil and grow grass on it. It will be a grassy tray!
However, there are lots of ways to go green, live green. It can be anything that is eco-friendly is good for everyone. That is how you are not working just for yourself, but for everyone around you, or who can say, maybe for the whole human civilization!
