How would you feel if you found all the famous 19th-century characters in one fantasy film? Politicians, royals, actors, even serial killers? But each one from a very unique angle. Just used as supporting characters? Yes, the main plot is not even based on these famous characters. Sounds interesting right? For you, Shanghai Knights is a must-watch movie. Though it’s a sequel film of “Shanghai Noon” but this one is a complete story itself & a lot entertaining.

After the wild west in the comedy “Shanghai Noon,” Chon Wang (Jackie Chan) and Roy O’Bannon (Owen Wilson) are back in the saddle, but off the range — this time, they’re out to settle a score in civilized London in the sequel, “Shanghai Knights.” When a Chinese rebel murders Chon’s estranged father and escapes to England, Chon and Roy make their way to London with revenge on their minds.
Basically, all the famous supporting characters were introduced in a very interesting way. All of them were very iconic. Apart from that, The fighting & action scenes were just tremendous. There were some stunts & uses of that time’s technology that we’re very much pleasurable to watch.
As a regular fusion kind of movie, Shanghai Knights also received mixed responses from critics. Though at the box office it was found quite profitable, making a profit of around 38 million USD.
Overall, mostly a positive & moderate review came because of its funny vibe & unique introduction of the characters.
I personally think, if you are a fan of Jackie chan, fantasy fusion & up for a quick refreshment or enjoyment, then this movie is a definite choice for you.
