Mr. Eleyas Hossain was present as a guest in the 20th episode of “BEHIND THE JOURNEY” organized by YSSE to share his journey. Currently, he is the president of the Stage for Youth Foundation. He is not only a vocalist but also works for human mental health.
In this pandemic, he started the home office for the safety of all. Although the type of work has changed, he is working with the thought that no one ends up being emotionally broken in this situation.
He also shared his naughty childhood memories with us, with a view of enjoying his student life. He had different dreams at different stages of his life but never dreamt of becoming a singer. He also struggled to launch his albums and faced some challenges at the beginning of his career but he never lost hope. His hard work eventually led him to success.
Stage for Youth Foundation was established mainly for youths from schools and colleges who are unable to maintain their mental balance due to various reasons. In this case, they have formed teams in all the districts of the country which will monitor these problems. These young people will be able to report their own problems and they will be connected to psychologists to know ways of recovering from depression. This foundation is also providing telemedicine services that are applicable in many cases. He specially requested parents not to pressurize their children so that they would not take any harmful steps.
He also shared how the foundation’s ideas changed in this epidemic because it was more than helping people emotionally. Elderly people who are not socially connected, members of this organization have worked to raise awareness by spreading WHO’s health guidelines about corona among them. They also distributed masks to help the people.
He expressed his desire to reach out to our young entrepreneurs through freelancing, in which he will provide various courses including graphics designing, web designing, etc. Their future is to create good entrepreneurs and give proper guidance.
He never thought about setting his goals in student life, but he suggested our youth to be entrepreneurial so that they can do something better for the future. He advised the youth to always be productive, self-reliant and engaged in good deeds.
The show was broadcasted on 13th September 2020 at 10 pm.
