Nilima Manju Arni was present as a guest in the 12th episode of the “Today’s Youth” program organized by YSSE. She is the founder of “Trendmaker” which provides original skincare products and cosmetics from the USA and the UK. She started her journey back in her freshman year and dreamt of doing something of her own, she wanted to make everyone aware of her favorite subject. She started the business out of her interest in skin products and from here now she is currently serving more than seventeen thousand followers.
Talking about her relationship with customers, she likes to do business flexibly in order to gain trust in the first place. Secondly, she believes in being committed to the business. In that case, she suggests doing business on the subject of everyone’s own choice.
She told us in the live program that she had planned to start the business long ago, could be big or small. However, as an entrepreneur, she got immense support from the people around her. She told us that as an entrepreneur, we have to face the challenges constantly. She also faces such pressure because it is not easy to balance student life and work-life altogether. But it is a must to accept challenges and move forward.
She urged all parents to give priority to the desires of their sons and daughters and said that women should take advantage of the opportunity to become entrepreneurs because this opportunity for women can bring success in Bangladesh.
She won NSU’s “Youth Entrepreneur Competition” in 2019 by sharing her entrepreneurial story.
